Fever

On Wednesday, I went in for my first urologist visit. I had been reading what to expect and exhausted myself before I got there. There was no reason for my stressing, as we just went over all the things from my previous appointments with other doctors. Oh, and I got to pee in another cup. I'm still not very good at that. Joke.

Instead of another ultrasound, he had me go get an x-ray to double-check for a kidney stone. If it's a kidney stone, they'll just use shock waves to break it up and then it should all sail right out. I picked up my x-rays yesterday though, and although I'm not a professional x-ray reader, I'm not seeing anything. He told me if this was the case, that they'd have to use a camera to check things out. Excuse me? After telling me that a 2 x 3 x 2 mm pebble (according to the ultrasound) could be more painful than childbirth, you're going to get a camera up there? Just at the thought, I could seriously cry! I'm just praying that he'll see a kidney stone that I don't see!

I don't know if it's a fever or what, but I keep randomly sweating through my clothes. One second I'm freezing, and the next, I'm soaked. Kyle and I were at Nashville Unplugged two weeks ago, and he put his hand on my leg. I hadn't thought to warn him, and he just looked at me like I was crazy. I was really embarrassed, but I couldn't stop laughing. I will say that this "adventure" has actually been fairly comical.

Before all of this though, I already had a pretty serious fever. I realize this is crazy. I really do. I couldn't help it though. That's right. I got it-- Bieber fever. When "Never Say Never" came out, I remember showing up to work and confessing to Leah that I had spent 3-4 hours the night before watching Justin Bieber videos on youtube. She started freaking out because she had her own confession. She had woken up early that morning and had done the same thing. "Never Say Never" in the theater never happened for us though.

Last night, Kyle asked me to come over and watch a movie with him. He wouldn't tell me what it was, and I had a feeling it was going to be something really stupid. I was right, but I was all smiles when the DVD menu came up for "Never Say Never". I may have squealed a few times, I may have been whisper singing through the entire thing, and that might have been the most ridiculous movie I've ever seen, but I didn't hear one complaint. I'll admit, it was a long 105 minutes and I LOVE JUSTIN! Ok, kind of kidding, but really- 105,000 points for Kyle!

  2. I believe you. That didn't sound right, but that's what I was told. That's really too bad! This is miserable! No rush to have babies! :)
