Well, since I'm not going to use this for school anymore...
It's kind of fun to look back on blogs, so for future purposes, here I go!
How do you like Las Vegas?
I love Las Vegas. I love that if I want to have the best time dancing until 4 in the morning, sleep 5 hours, drive 20 minutes, hike as long as I want, and then only be 20 minutes away from an afternoon nap, I can. Everyone that comes here is excited to be here and I think the energy and enthusiasm that visitors bring is contagious! Am I ready for something different though? Absolutely. Where? I don't know.
Where are you working?
I'm not. The company I was working for closed it's doors at the end of February / beginning of March. I was offered a job, but for several reasons, decided that I shouldn't go there. Since then, I feel like I've applied everywhere! I've recently been focusing on casinos, clubs, and airlines. I've babysat, mowed lawns, helped roof houses, worked at a school, sold books, sold clothes, worked for an insulation company, washed dishes, made sandwiches, worked for the government, worked at a call center, created construction draws, worked at a tanning salon, worked at a hotel, did payroll, formed business entities... and I'm just... ready for something new!
Where do you want to be working?
I realize that 25 might be a little old to not know what you want, but I don't know what I want.
Are you going back to BYU-Idaho?
I don't know that I could say that stranger things have happened.
Are you going to finish school, given you only have one semester left?
I so badly want to, but where? I will have residency here in August, which means I could attend UNLV. Problem- They don't accept most of my credits. I already have 20 semesters under my belt! Okay, not really, but I'm pretty sure it's somewhere close to that and 6 more semesters? I feel sick.
Are you dating anyone?
Yes, and his name is Kyle. That name might sound familiar, but this is a different Kyle. We met in December at some Mormon kid's dance party being held at a preschool. Real special, huh? I was really happy to be there, if you can imagine. His first words to me-- "Can I not dance with you?" Ummm... sure. In short, I think he's "mas importante", which to us means "VERY cool".
Do you think you will be getting married soon?
Why would I do that?
What else have you been up to?
I was going to pilates twice a week until I got a kidney stone a month ago. Until the pebble is gone, I'm taking it easy. I'm definitely missing the gym and hiking out at Red Rock! I did go to the driving range and play some golf while my dad was in town last week. Thank goodness for golf carts! I'm thinking it's time to get my own clubs now!
I go to Nashville Unplugged a lot. Songwriters from Nashville come out and perform songs they've written and talk about what inspired them. I've been more than a few times by myself because I love it that much! When you see someone perform songs they've written like "In Color" sung by Jamey Johnson and "More Than A Memory" sung by Garth Brooks, it speaks straight to the soul. I love country music! I LOOOOOOOOVE country music!
What else.... Went home for Easter! I hadn't been there since last June, so it was good to be home! Some of my time has been spent at the library ("Eat, Pray, Love" is a MUST read), laying out and enjoying the beautiful sunshine, poker lessons here and there, thrift store / yard sale shopping with Sarah, been to Stoney's a few times (the largest country club in Las Vegas -- I'm not going back until I'm accompanied by someone that knows how to two step! That's why I go!), ... I don't know! Nothing too exciting! Round 3 of Las Vegas has been much more relaxed! Some days I miss the going out all the time and doing something every minute of every single day, but minus the lack of employment, this is nice, too.
Song of the Day:

yay! i love that you have a blog and that i get updates on your life. maybe i will make it out there someday!
