I tried to update this thing a few times, but I had to come to better terms with a few things before I could write without bawling. November was not kind to me, but I'm going to try and complete each thought with something positive.
The month started with me running errands for work, pulling back in to the parking lot, and suddenly having smoke come pouring out of the hood of my car. I FREAKED. I called my dad and he had me prepared for the worst. The smoke ended up being steam and I found a giant hole in my radiator hose.
Positive thought: Brandon's an awesome friend, took care of the cheap $30 fix for me, and I learned how to change my top radiator hose. Easy peasy!
I ended up freezing my gym membership due to the fact that I started having kidney pain again. I'm still not back at the gym and they still aren't completely sure what's wrong two months later. I'm finding that the gym is mandatory when it comes to my mental health and I'm excited for the day I get to make my return! I'll have to take before and after pictures this time.
Positive thought: Boobs are back!
That last one has been miserable and extremely frustrating, but this event has me in tears... again. I lost my baby in a very unlucky situation on the I-15 during rush hour. Someone two cars in front of me slammed on their brakes, I kept sliding upon braking, and made contact with the car in front of me. The highway patrolman was a real nice guy and made the situation extra memorable by citing me for "Failure to Duty to Care".
Positive thought: If it had to happen, I was lucky enough to have my dad in town for my first accident, the lady in front of me kept apologizing like it was her fault (super nice), the dent on her car was tiny, and Kyle has an extra car for me to borrow until I build my car fund up a little bit more (or until I can find someone that can heal my wounded black stallion).
I think I made it sound not so bad! Here's three additional all good things to add to the November list--
- Kyle's 18th birthday (& the mud pie I made!)
- Willy Dunkley came to visit. We kept ourselves entertained.
- Thanksgiving with Kyle's family - Watched his nephews ride dirtbikes, went shooting, had a delicious Thanksgiving dinner, and went to Stoney's!
