Plans, Poker, Pee, Princess, and the Pops

WSOP ends soon, and I was starting to stress because I didn't have a plan. I obviously don't like having everything set in stone, but I've always preferred defined, solid options. I was more than ready to leave Vegas, but today, it looks like I'll be staying at least another year. I'm hoping I'll be able to pick up an additional job to make the time move right along. I was also thinking I need to go out and be more social again because that's when I love Las Vegas the most! It's been a few months too long!

I have to mention this... well, just because I thought it was crazy. There are a ton of people still playing in the two enormous conference rooms that I deliver to at the Rio. I woke up this morning and remembered watching poker clips with Con and thinking one of the guys in a lot of the clips was particularly attractive. I decided today that I was going to pay attention at work and see if I spotted him anywhere. I went to deliver one of the meals and was waiting for one of the hands to finish behind two of the other players when one of them turned and looked up at me. Directly in front of me and looking back was Patrik Antonius. Wow. Weird. Really though... Wooooooooooow.

Now that I'm done sounding like a 16 year old girl, I went to the urologist yesterday morning. I was expecting bad news given the fact that this last week I've been hurting more and more again. The mini-pee test came back normal though and he didn't see anything on the x-ray. I'm not quite sure what to think. He's having me do a giant pee test and meet with him again in 3 weeks. The saga continues...

My sister and dad were in town this last weekend. It was so much fun having my sister here! I must have asked my dad at least 20 times if she could please stay. He would just ignore me and change the subject. My sister thought it was hilarious, but I was serious. I was working so much that I felt like I barely got to see her!

We checked out Fremont Street on Saturday night (best people watching EVER) and then went to my favorite (the Bellagio) on Sunday night. Her last night here, there were 3 different occasions where either I asked something and my sister answered at the same time I asked, or we said the exact same thing. It's fun being THAT on the same page. Love her! I'm hoping my mom and sister come back for a girls trip ASAP!

Alexis left Monday afternoon, and my dad is here until Friday. I feel lucky that his job brings him here! We met up Tuesday night for what I swear was at least a 4 hour dinner. (I had a realization at dinner that I tell never-ending stories like my dad. I think I just talk too much, in general.) Cheesecake Factory will always be my favorite! Last night, I made him dinner (I only enjoy making Mexican food-- FACT!), he fixed my brake lights for me, and then I introduced him to Yogurtland. NUM!

I'm excited to see how this weekend goes! Oh, the possibilities! I've got Mexico and San Diego on the brain, but I'm missing Rach, and my car is fixed...
